We are FibreNation
We’re building a state-of-the-art Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) network for the nation, on a mission to bring it to 3 million homes and businesses.
FibreNation is behind the UK’s first Gigabit City in York. This is the biggest fibre infrastructure currently available in the UK, and our network has made York the fastest in the country.
Compared to 80% elsewhere in Europe, only 8% of homes and businesses in the UK can connect to a full fibre network.
We don’t think that’s good enough. We’re proud to bring world-class connectivity home, playing our part to support Government targets to increase the number of people served by full fibre.
We’re bringing in the latest technology, creating ambitious new ways of working with minimal disruption, backed by an experienced team. Together, we’re delivering our vision at pace.
We believe the nation should have access to better connections today, and for everything the future has in store.
We build with less disruption, and we build fast, so our customers get access to a full fibre network that’s so reliable it can even help traffic lights work better.
We use the latest technology, building new infrastructure that delivers value and efficiency for all our partners. It means we can connect the nation faster, too. FibreNation works closely with local authorities, developers and other key stakeholders to unlock the full digital potential of every area we’re in.
Delivering a resilient full fibre network that works. Simple.
Building for now, ready for everything the future of the internet has in store.
Less disruption. Our implementation means we’ll be in and out of your street quicker than the rest.
Over 1000Mbps. Speeding 3 million homes and businesses to gigabit capable over the next decade.
We do it differently. Our teams of engineers have the technology, insight and experience to connect the nation better.
We’ve already built a Gigabit-city in York, and we’re proud to be transforming the nation’s digital lives, in cities and towns across the UK.
We’re currently owned and funded by TalkTalk, the UK’s value provider of simple, fair, reliable, and affordable internet connectivity.
